Let’s learn to be modern-day saints … together.
“I will seek out a means of getting to Heaven by a little way.” —St. Thérèse of Lisieux
Registration is open for our 2023 YCP Conference: The Little Way!
Inspired by the writings of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the “Little Way” is a simple approach to the spiritual life that focuses on doing ordinary things with extraordinary love. In the book The Little Way of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, the saint said, “I can prove my love only by scattering flowers, that is to say, by never letting slip a single little sacrifice, a single glance, a single word; by making profit of the very smallest actions, by doing them for love.”
Join our YCP family as we learn from this wonderful “Little Flower”!

PETER REX
Peter Rex began working construction at 18 years old while attending community college. In 2005, after completing philosophy and government degrees at Georgetown, he purchased his first property. To preserve capital, Pete slept in vacant units and did all the maintenance and construction management himself. He also handled legal, tax, finance, code compliance, and asset management. Pete continued to run his operations while completing Harvard Law, earning a CPA, and fighting through the Great Financial Crisis. In the depths of that recession, Pete scaled to $2B of assets with a vertically integrated operation and 500 employees. The company received national distinctions as a Fortune’s Top 20 Places to Work and a Top 5 ranking for most apartment renovations completed. Pete’s experiences led to the launch of Rex Tech Ventures, which is building technology to serve real estate owners and operators. Rex currently has 10 companies solving the largest, most lucrative problems in the real estate industry—ranging from insuring and paying workers to investing and managing assets. Pete’s writing has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Newsweek, Fox Business, and others. He is on the board of the Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business, an Advisor to ADF’s Viewpoint Diversity Score, and advisor to the Texas Blockchain Council’s Real Estate and Tokenization group. He lives in Austin with his wife and four children.

FR. KEN GERACI, CPM
Fr. Ken, former software entrepreneur, now serves as Webmaster and Vocation Director for the Fathers of Mercy.
Fr. Ken lived the life of the prodigal son for most of his young adult life. Raised in a nominally Catholic family who only lived the externals of the faith, Fr. Ken left the Catholic Church for many years. During that time he earned a business degree and worked as a business professional in Advanced R&D and software testing; a few years into his career he joined a few of his co-workers in establishing a $4.5 million Internet software company. Focused on money, fitness, and success, he made little room for God; but God did not give up on him. Through a series of conversions, years of struggle, study, and questioning, Fr. Ken found his way from agnosticism, to non-denominational Christianity, and ultimately back to the Catholic Church, so he has a great understanding of the personal and societal pressures that individuals face and knows what it is like to “hate coming to church.” Fr. Ken joined the Fathers of Mercy in 2006 and was ordained in 2012. He currently serves as a missionary, webmaster, and vocation director for the Fathers of Mercy.

Father LoCoco was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Jerome Listecki in 2018 and served as a parochial vicar before being assigned to vocations work. He is currently serving as Vocation Director, manages the diocesan discernment house, and is a National Eucharistic Preacher.

He works with clients to help ensure they keep the promises they make to God, their families, their communities, and themselves each and every day. He takes a distinct approach to first help identify what is most important in his client’s life and more crucially, why. Jéan-Paul’s ultimate goal is to understand what each client’s “mission” is: what they would like their money to accomplish in their life and the legacy they want to leave behind for the next generation. By understanding the “why” for his clients Jéan-Paul is able to work with his team to help ensure client portfolios and overall wealth plan are a perfect reflection of client needs, goals, and values.
Jean-Paul launched his career in financial services in 2008 at Citibank during the height of the financial crisis and quickly realized that no single solution works for everyone. In 2009 Jean-Paul joined Wells Fargo as a Business Development Officer where he learned all 84 different lines of business that the bank offered, increasing his acumen and ability to be a true financial consultant to his clients, their families, and the businesses they owned. After 5 years of successfully working with business owners who operated companies doing $20-$150MM in gross annual sales, Jean-Paul moved into Wealth Management as a Wealth Advisor with Wells Fargo Private Bank as part of the leadership team working exclusively on investment accounts greater than $10MM, and as high as $160MM; specifically business owners who he helped guide through the process of selling their companies. After a total of 9 years all together at Wells Fargo, Jean-Paul joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor with the Pluta/Katz team which managed a $2 Billion book of business from Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan New York and obtained his CEPA accreditation as a “Certified Exit Planning Advisor” once again fortifying his focus on working with Business Owners, and helping them navigate all the facets of preparing their companies to bring them to market, he is known for his personal advice, knowledgeable insight, and guidance in managing diverse financial backgrounds. Jean-Paul has worked with affluent individuals and their families, entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, executives, pro-athletes, entertainers and real estate investors alike to facilitate strategies and guidance to meet their individual financial needs. Today, Jéan-Paul operates Star of the Sea Wealth Management as an independent advisory firm, which has a custodial relationship with BNY Mellon | Pershing, & Schwab.
Jéan-Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University (“LMU”) in Los Angeles where he also played NCAA division one basketball for the Lions while on athletic scholarship. After his playing days were over, Jéan-Paul began coaching and in a short period of time became a general manager of a minor league franchise.
Prior to banking, Jéan-Paul started two of his own companies and was involved as both an owner and manager for a number of other start-ups where he served on their boards. These “life” experiences have helped to provide him with the necessary background to anticipate his client’s needs for any venture they may choose. Jéan-Paul is very active in the southern California community, formerly sitting on the Board of Directors for the Orange County YMCA, Connections for Children in Los Angeles, & Divine Mercy 4 Life. He currently sits on the Board for Obria Medical Clinics, a national Pro-Life women’s crisis pregnancy center, Tepeyac Leadership Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to civic leadership development for lay Catholic professionals, and the Santiago Retreat Center, a 501(c)(3) corporation, that exists to serve the Catholic communities of Southern California by providing facilities for retreats, marriage encounters, summer & science camps, and special events in a safe & secure; stunningly beautiful 500 acre setting.

What if I can’t come for a day?
YCP Conference programming builds upon itself each day. With this in mind, we do not sell “day passes” or lower priced tickets for those who may not be able to make particular days of the event. However, tickets are available for JUST the evening gala on Saturday, April 22nd for those who can’t make it to the whole conference or simply just want to attend this special evening in support of YCP.
Who are the speakers?
You can find a full list of our speakers and their bios under the “Speakers” tab.
Will Mass, Adoration, and Confession be available?
Yes, Mass will be celebrated each morning and both Adoration and Confession will be available throughout the weekend.
I am interested in being an Executive Mentor. How can I sign up?
Please click below and contact us to let us know and a member of our staff will be in touch to speak with you further about the role and the opportunity.
Will there be small groups this year?
Yes! During our breakout sessions, after the speaker gives a brief presentation, everyone will get the opportunity to break into small groups led by an Executive Mentor. Mentors will then guide their small group through an interactive business example that incorporates the topic of the session.
I am only going to the gala. Where should I go and when?
The gala will take place within our conference venue, Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas Hotel. Join us at 6pm for the pre-gala reception.
If I purchased a “Gala Only” ticket, what does that include?
“Gala Only” tickets include admission to the reception prior to dinner, a seat at a table for dinner (our gala is open seating for all guests except those who are made aware of their reserved seats ahead of time), and a joyful evening of networking and dancing with your YCP family!
What is the “Mentor Luncheon” I see in my registration form?
This is a lunch for speakers, sponsors, priests/religious, YCP board members, mentors, and supporters over 40 years old.
If you are attending, you will receive an email with details prior to the event and upon arrival at the conference.
What is the attire for the Saturday evening gala?
Our annual gala is black-tie optional. Time to get dressed up in your formal wear for an unforgettable evening!
Is there a dress code for the conference?
Please dress business casual during all conference activities (except for at the Gala—see below!).
Is transportation provided to and from the airport?
Transportation from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field Airport will not be provided by YCP. The DFW airport is the closest airport in proximity to the conference venue.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
When completing your online registration form, you can let us know what restrictions you have so we can be sure to accommodate them.
Will food and beverages be provided?
Lunch and dinner on Saturday, April 22nd will be provided for all conference attendees. Snacks and refreshments will also be available each day of the event for everyone.
Attendees staying as guests at the Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas will be given up to two (2) breakfast vouchers per day, per room, valid for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Dinner on Friday, April 21st will not be provided and all attendees will need to purchase on their own. There are many incredible restaurants just steps away from our venue with unique discounts just for YCP!
Lunch on Friday, April 21st will be provided for those attending the National Leadership Summit (NLS).
What is included with my conference ticket?
Admission to all liturgies, keynote presentations, breakout sessions, happy hours, and the Saturday evening gala celebration.
Lunch and dinner on Saturday in addition to refreshments and snacks throughout the weekend.
Your ticket does not include a hotel room at the Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas. Head to the “Hotel & Venue” tab to reserve a room with our discounted rate.
Airfare is also not included and will need to be booked independently.
I am coming to the conference alone and would like to split the cost of a room with someone. Is it possible to find a roommate?
We can do our best to help you find a roommate! Click below and contact us to let us know you’d like one. If another attendee reaches out to tell us that they also would like a roommate, we can connect you with them!
Do I have to book a hotel room at the conference venue?
Reserving a room at our venue is not required, but recommended as all conference activities will be just a short elevator ride away! You are welcome to stay elsewhere if you’d like. See the hotel info and booking link above to reserve your room.
When and where is the conference?
The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas in Frisco, Texas from April 21-23, 2023. You can learn more about our venue and book your stay under the “Hotel & Venue” tab.
