I remember being fresh out of grad school, with a great high-paying job in my hands, yet I found myself questioning - is this what true success looks like? Is there more to life than just climbing the corporate ladder?
As I met with my friends and peers, I could sense a general restlessness that we were all looking for a deeper purpose for our lives, beyond professional success, a yearning for a community that resonated with our Faith and values.

As I met with my friends and peers, I could sense a general restlessness that we were all looking for a deeper purpose for our lives, beyond professional success, a yearning for a community that resonated with our Faith and values.
At the time, I read that the Christian experience is not passive and that it cannot be experienced alone.
These experiences led me to a profound realization. There was a glaring gap for young Catholic professionals like us. We needed a place to align our Faith with our professional ambitions. A place where we could be ourselves, honor our values, and grow in our Faith and career together.
Then in 2010, I received God’s call to Start YCP… I quit my job and went all in.
Fast forward to today, YCP has grown to thousands of members with over 500+ dedicated chapter volunteers serving over 34 chapters across the country! And we’re just getting started…
We created Belong to surround you with a community to help you rediscover and live the beauty of our Catholic Faith in your everyday life and work.
With Belong, we created a platform that combines the power of professional networking with Faith-based mentorship. But more than that, Belong represents a community that understands you, that believes in the same values, and is on the same journey.
And with Belong+, we took it a step further. We've designed it to provide young workers like you with the mentorship and support needed to drive your career forward while staying true to our Catholic Faith.

YCP offers two options for membership: Belong for $36/year and Belong+ for $84/year.
You can sign up for YCP membership here.
Our target age group is 20-30s, but we do invite individuals 40+ to become mentors within YCP as well as invite everyone to join us at the National Conference.

If your membership expired, log in to your account and navigate to the “Memberships” tab in the navigation side bar. From there, you will see a notification in red to “Renew Now.” Click that button and follow through with the next steps. If you come across any issues, email help@youngcatholicprofessionals.org.
Yes! If you are interested in upgrading your membership, please email help@youngcatholicprofessionals.org with this request, where you will be upgraded and charged with the difference!
Absolutely! YCP offers virtual ways to partake in membership through connecting with other members in the community, participating in our mentoring program, or checking out our partner perk opportunities. YCP also holds a national conference each year at a discounted rate for members.

Once you become a member, you will be sent an invitation to join our mentoring platform, Mentorcloud. After accepting the invitation, you will be prompted to complete your profile. From there you can search for different mentor options or request to be matched with a mentor based on your matched areas by emailing membership@youngcatholicprofessionals.org.
